We remember Chitta Ranjan Das

In 1964 Mr. Chitta Ranjan Das joined the Pak-SEATO Cholera Research Laboratory, Matlab Field Station as a Health Assistant. He retired from service in 1999 after completing his 60 years of age. During his service tenure, initially Mr. Das worked for DSS, Vaccine trials and MCH-FP services. In last stage of his service life he was very active in setting up sub-centers and acted as a mid-level supervisor. He was always a very active, dedicated, sincere worker. His Matlab family of co-workers knew Mr. Das as ever smiling, easy going, and with a thoroughly gentle personality. He was also a good friend of the Matlab community.

On March 31,2005, Chitta Ranjan Das passed way. Surviving Mr. Das are his wife, two sons and four daughters. All their children are married and established.
