The web site provides access to a database of material on arsenic poisoning, together with extensive details about arsenicosis and many links to papers, news items and other information. The project was set up in response to the situation in Bangladesh, and its development is described in the article Good Intentions, Bad Water in the Summer 1999 issue of Harvard Public Health Review.
British Geological Survey has carried out a number of studies in Bangladesh and this web site present reports, maps, data and photos documenting the problem.
