Recent Advances in Scaling Up Zinc

We are pleased to announce that the Third International Zinc Conference "Recent Advances in Scaling Up Zinc" was sucessfully held on the 24-25 April 2006.

This year’s conference was dedicated to recent advances in scaling up zinc which gave us the opportunity to share the lessons learnt from the past as well as knowledge transfer from the distinguished guests of other countries like India, Nepal, Cambodia, Indonesia, East Timor, Pakistan and Uganda. It was a platform for exchange of valuable experiences with zinc scaling-up strategies in different settings. Furthermore, we also heard about some important recent research findings that have emerged over the past year, and the usage and effectiveness of zinc treatment in emergency settings.
