Facilitated Discussion on QAP Experiences with Mainstreaming IYCF actions in Tanzania

Deborah Ash discussed her experience with mainstreaming infant and young child feeding actions (IYCF) as part of the Quality Assurance Project (QAP).  Using a QA approach in training helped to address the issues of multiple providers for health service delivery.  For example, different job aides were used for training nurses and midwives.  This project provides an example of how the Quality Assurance approach is used.  It shows the need to be client focused rather than using a top down approach.
