Nutrition Videos

Video on Nutrition: Audio- visual communication has always been a strong media to disseminate awareness raising message. MNI was aware of this effective communication tools. First of this initiative was to produce a video on nutrition to raise public awareness and create a demand for nutrition services in Peru. The video was a huge success story as it generated mass enthusiasm garnered through print and electronic media. On backdrop of success of the Peru video MNI further decided to replicate the activity in Ecuador and India. The purpose of the videos again is appealing to the public for demanding basic nutrition services and to the service providers for delivery of services. Bibiana Melzi and M/S Ishan Echoes were contracted to produce the videos for Ecuador and India respectively. The MNI staffs based in ICDDR,B and the World Bank provided technical and financial support. The videos are expected to replicate success of the Peruvian video.
