        Developing the capacity of partner organizations to receive and incorporate research findings into HIV/AIDS prevention activities.
 
2. HIV/AIDS prevention entertainment education programme and the effect of post-viewing interpersonal discussion.
        
Measuring the impact of a TV serial on HIV/AIDS knowledge and misconceptions of youth club members (male) and household members (female).
 
3. Preparing unqualified practitioners to address the coming HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Testing a new strategy for engaging unqualified private providers in HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and referral.
 
4. Creating conditions for scaling up access to life skills reproductive health education and condom services.

Increasing the practice of safe sex by expanding access to reproductive health education and services.
 
5. Enhancing community readiness and participation in HIV/AIDS prevention.
 
        Building on the knowledge gained in phase 1 research, this study aims to work with GFATM-supported NGOs in developing strategies to promote community readiness and enhance community participation in HIV/AIDS prevention.
 
6. Promoting safe sex among young clients of female sex workers.

Testing alternative strategies for clients of hotel-based sex workers towards preventing the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Bangladesh.
 
7. Endline HIV/AIDS survey

Assessing the impact of the HIV/AIDS prevention programme by measuring changes from 2005 to 2009 in knowledge and behaviour indicators related to HIV/AIDS and STI among youth in Bangladesh.
