First International CSR Workshop

In late November 2007, ICDDR,B and the Centre for Systematic Review welcomed 24 participants from 4 continents, including members of the Alliance; our northern collaborators from the Cochrane Collaboration in Norway and the EPPI-Centre in London; and researchers from the three sister Centres for Systematic Review from China (Finance); Chile (Methodology) and Uganda (Human Resources). This international workshop served to further promote systematic review, research capacity for and methodology in the field of health policy and systems research from low- and middle-income countries.

The workshop was sponsored by the Alliance for Health Systems and Policy Research.
