Bioethics workshop and Lectures

Dr. Alejandro Cravioto together with Dr Richard A Cash and Mr Amar Jesani (India) together with Dr Aliya Nahid (ICDDR,B) and Ms Sabina Rashid (BRAC) organized a workshop to train trainers starting 26 February. Dr Cash suggested that the Centre should focus on ethical issues for longitudinal surveys and has therefore proposed a 5-day ½ day workshop of 13-15 persons with 2-3 from the School of Public Health. The workshop included staff from all divisions.

The lectures were well attended by ICDDR,B staff and everybody enjoyed the lectures and the workshop. The assistance of Mr. Amar Jesani and Dr Richard Cash was much appreciated. A follow-up session will be held later in the year together with a group of lectures.
